« on: December 26, 2008, 01:57:17 PM »

Not much moto-related this year, but some good stuff:
  • MotoGP 2008 (PS2) from BikerGoddess
  • Team of Rivals from BikerGoddess
  • A bunch of great books on other historical topics (from BikerGoddess' Parents)
  • Lots of kick-ass kitchen stuff (also from BikerGoddess' Parents)
  • The mother of all food processors (also from BikerGoddess' parents)
  • Cold, hard cash from mom
  • A great bottle of vino from Desmostro...thanks man!

And lots of really cool holiday cards and wishes from people.

crap load of gift certificates from students (I've got to say that out of all the various cards my favorite is the $35 for 7-eleven)
A bottle of champagne from a student.  It was a little awkward, but a lot of fun receiving alcohol from a sixth grader. No one in my family drinks at all so I'm at a loss of what to do with it.
A bunch of rubber duckies.
Zumo 450 from Santa (maybe someone would like to hook it up for the champagne Grin)
balaclava for those really cold rides
socks
blanket
Other miscellaneous stuff

It was a fun year. Got too much and bought too much stuff for the family. Now I gotta pay.

  • Awesome home-cooked food
  • Apple iTouch from Desmoquattro (to replace my pitifully inadequate Palm Pilot)
  • Kick-ass Cuisinart from the parental units (now DQ and I can never break up or there will be appliance custody issues)
  • rolling folding cart for the Weber Baby Q (great for Moto GP!)

A quiet day to myself, and a much needed restful night's sleep. Maria went to Atlanta to see her family, and the roommate went to Mexico for a week, so I've had the place to myself for the week.

But before she left, Maria gave me a new HD digital camera. She got a new Cannondale cyclocross bike from me.
