Who's using a 4G Nano on their Monster. I got one for xmas and after using a 2G shuffle, trying to figure out a secure mounting for it and still be able to access it on the fly. Thanks

I have http://www.monstercable.com/productdisplay.asp?pin=3714 strapped to my handle bar clamp.  Works great, fairly weather proof and easy enough to hit the buttons with my gloves on.  won't work with the shuffle, but it should with the nano

Keep it in your pocket and use a Ijet.

They work great and the ipod is safely in your pocket.  I just clipped the remote to a set of wires at the handle bars so I can access it easily w/ my left hand.
It allows you to skip forward and back, controls the volume and pauses it and it will save on the wear and tear of the ipod being strapped to the bike and having issues w/ vibration.

I use a 2G shuffle. I tried an ipod touch, nano and regular sized ipod every which way possible. For me, the easiest and most importantly, safest scenario is the ipod shuffle clipped to the cuff of my jacket. Then I run the headphone cable through the sleeve.

So when I ride, I can just take my hand off the bar and hit the pause, FF, RW, etc. and not even need to look at it.

If you're at all interested in wiring an IPOD here's an excellent GPS mounting tutorial for the monster that might have some info you could use.
