These used to belong to Walter Kohl, a guy who ran a small little shop in Buffalo NY's suburbs.

Shame they are all going to rot.

I think a little trip to Lockport is in order. About 4 hr trip west on the Thruway for me.

Only a half hour from B and I.

But we're more interested in the building than the bikes.   Undecided

You buy the building and I will happily clear it out for you. For free!

I wish I knew how the market was going to go. If there is something decent that would be within my budget, I'd make the trip up for this. It's only 4 hours away.

Rumor has it that most of the bikes are Ducati's waiting for parts to finish the repairs Wink

The internet is pretty amazing.  Some kid on a rainbow 6 forum posts up about this place and before you know it the guy that owns it is gonna have motorcycle buffs from all over the country driving to his doorstep to look at these bikes.

It's a real shame the building is in such bad shape ruining all those bikes. Cry  Hopefully a huge chunk of em find new homes.  I bet the guy that originally collected them rolled over in his grave every time the floor caved in taking down 20-30 bikes.  Shocked

Sooo who is gonna go find out if there some ducs over there?  [moto]

B and I are going to the viewing on Thurs. before the auction, friday.

There is a pretty extensive list of whole (wholeish) bikes on the auctioneers site.

See here http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=27450.0 for some picts and link to auction site.

Does not appear to be any ducs.   Sad

Holy Cantaloupes and Watermelons............oh the bikes.

So very sad.

There is a truly beautiful early 1800s Victorian, brick, home located on a farm and in this house are Tapestries that I saw when I was 16 , 44 years ago,

I know those Tapestries are worth a small fortune and all the antique furniture I saw when I was in the long ago vacant property at age 16.

I don't know what it is about people that have valuable things and won't sell them when offered, but will let them sit and rot away to nothing.
