This weather just sucks. But I hear its going to be a balmy 30 on Sunday  Roll Eyes

On a positive note, I went to the Ducati party in NYC last night it was a lot of fun. Ducati knows how to throw a cool shindig (Is that a word ? )

Oz
Shindig is definitely a word.

...probably sounds different in Italian though.

Heatwave due tomorrow, 27.         waytogo

And 4" of snow.  I've got to go fix my snow blower.  Long story and boring, continue at your own risk:

I have an attachment on my garden tractor.  46" wide!  That pregnant dog move the snow quickly!  With the right snow it will toss it 60'+.  But it's a craftsman and it's 8 years old.  Last week I was snow blowing.  Got to the last 6" and it stopped throwing snow.  Everything was moving; the engine, the drive belts, the pulleys but not the auger or the impeller?  Get into the garage and start looking it over!  Turns out to be the ear box connecting the drive belt to the impeller.  No problem, just go onto Sears' parts web page.  This is where I start having a problem.  I find the part but it's listed for almost $700.  $700?  I'll buy a new snow blower for that?  Call Sears and they confirm the price.  Now's not a good time to buy a new snow blower.

At this point I have nothing to lose.  Go into the garage and dismantle the gear box.  I'm expecting to find a maze of complex bevel gears.  No.  All that was in there is two double sprockets and a broken double chain?  $700?  Called Sears and tracked down the manufacturer of the snow blower.  Agri Fab.  Ordered the chain for $14.  Now all I have to do is install it.   Smiley

While speaking to the folks at Agri Fab, I found out the manufacture many outdoor power tools for companies like, Craftsman, MTD, Husqvarna, etc..... even John Deere.
