In which case, there is no reason to attend unless there will folks there who are all of the following:  (1) hawt, (2) easy and (3) drunk.  In a pinch, it's ok to attend if there is only (2) and (3), but only if you are (3).  Alternatively, even just (2) will work so long as you are (3) and they are really (2), but since you are on two wheels, (3) is bad, which means you need (1)-(3) to ensure attendance.

The Blonde and I were gonna stay in and watch the bebe geek percolate, but it seems that our attendance is required at a cocktail party.  I'm the official bourbon-bringer.  No one there will be (1).  Many will be (2) and (3).  Mostly cuz it'll be a buncha dudes.   Roll Eyes

Dude, for what it' worth I got a phone number. waytogo Here's the funny thing. I rode my Vespa there, got great parking in front, and showed up in all my gear, but not a word from the hostess or guests. I met someone there and she said she loves Ducatis and wants to ride one. I showed her a pic of my bike and got her number.  Grin She claims she wants a ride, but I'm not holding my breath. Okay, sleep time to make the 8am new year's ride. Good night.

Apparently, Ducati_Tim is out partying...they just interviewed him at random on TV.

Quoth:
"Definitely looking forward to a cool and awesome New Year."

We had an East Coast New Year Party (ring in the New Year at 9 pm PST) at my place. The reporter is a friend of mine, so it is not quite so random  Wink

Lobsters, homemade pasta and Champagne with the missus. In bed by 11 watching inane NYE show, woke up at 12:03 and turned off TV.

Feelin' a bit rocky this AM from the bubbly, but will soldier on with some killer egg dish inspired by my patron saint, Mario Batali.

I feel like such a loser.  I fell asleep at 11:00, was waken up at 11:40, said Wee at 12:00  Vino!, and went back to sleep at 12:15.

Happy New Year everyone!             Vino!      chug

Just got back into town last night. We had some champagne, finished a movie  popcorn and very happily hit the hay after an adventurous week.
I'm so happy I didn't spend last night puking what I drink too much of, and instead went home with someone I respect.  laughingdp

Stayed in, started falling asleep at 10:30, managed to stay awake until midnight, went to bed, then froze my arse off on a ride this morning.
