Will I have to have remapped if i remove it?
While you're at it, might as well lose the udder.  Evil

Your bike has a Euro 2 compliant ECU and exhaust - that means it is less sensitive to exhaust mods than the Euro 3 bikes, like my '07.
Pretty much any slip ons will work (does your bike run well with the system you have on there?)
The problems often occurs when people with Euro 3 bikes (and O2 sensors) mod the exhaust without getting the DP ECU.
I'm not sure your bike can handle slip ons + udderless pipes, but it might work if you don't also add an open air box. Mind you, I'm not the expert Wink
If DP ECU is required to lose the udder, it's not worth the $$$ IMO.

Ask a specific question in a new thread here or ask your dealer. I'm sure you'll find out.

S.I.T. is correct from what i understand. On the 800 there would be no O2 issues by using the midpipe and losing the udder.  an open airbox with the midpipe would probably require the dp ecu or a pciii.

the full exhaust is worth it imo especially on the 800.  i took mine off when it looked like i'd have to sell the bike and the difference was not small going back to stock.  i have since put it back on.

increased hp aside the other advantage is weight saving.  the udder is heavy.

if you decided to keep it one look that I liked was the short termi pipe they came out with in 07.  it looks best imo with the udder and you will still lose some weight and clean up the back of the bike.

bike looks good.  like the Rizoma pieces you've added.  as far as the sticker, they're not my thing, but if you like it roll with it.  It's your bike.

cheers

I think it looks good, but for me it needs some similar treatment on the tank for balance.

Maybe something that follows the lines of the side of the tank, somebody here has the sides of their tank Chromo'd,

Those rear sets look cracked. Better send them to me for testing and evaluation.

It's gone!!!  It kind of drew your eyes straight to it.  Thanks for the feedback.

Now the eyes go straight to the yellow spring, red filler cap, and huge udder.   Tongue

Buy another cowl and swap back and forth when you get tired of the current look you are sporting.  It's always good to keep things fresh.

I don't care for it on the dark, but it doesn't look bad.
