The cake is a LIE

« on: January 05, 2009, 06:52:47 PM »

Discovery Channel HD is airing a new series called Twist of the Throttle.
It was supposed to begin tonight with the episode focused on Honda and next weeks on Ducati.

According to the interwebs, the Discovery Channel is going to do additional promotion and air the series later in Q1 -2009.
Major Angry Angry Angry

Anyway..there are some great pre-clips about each episode with 4 on Ducati alone.
Worth a few minutes checking it out especially for the beautiful Italian countryside.
If you click on the Ducati name on the list, it will take you to the vids.
Enjoy.

Perhaps this would be a great MOB night out at someplace with a big screen when the Ducati episode airs???

I was all excited to watch this. They are airing Sturgis: Motorcycle Mania starting at 9pm, though. Not the same, but better than League of Extraordinary Gentlemen...lame movie.

Dunno...I'd almost rather watch a bad Sean Connery movie than anything about Sturgis...well, except for the part where John McCain offers to enter his wife in the wet t-shirt contest.

After watching all four Ducati segments...I'm almost in tears. I need to go to Italy. I need a 1098. I need to ride Futa Pass.

Dude...gross.

I found this photo in an article about handbags.  All I gotta say is that her face and the leather on that purse have a lot in common...except the bag doesn't wear lipstick and its tan is real.

I think that handbag looks real nice without a t shirt.

After about 1/2hr of Sturgis, I changed my mind and agree with you.

After watch ing a 1/2 hour of sturgis I'd almost rather be dragged though gravel behind horses. At least I can say I know what that is now.
No, burn out contest based on applause. really. Applauso-meter.
