Hey All,   I'll meet you guys at Motocorsa at 10 a.m.  Don't let a little gravel or cold slow you down.

Be strong and get out there and ride.  Grin

Mike

Just wanted to clarify I'll be riding today, Saturday.  See ya!

I went out this morning, just to the pharmacy and to get some cat food.  It was cold and windy but not too bad.  Lots of gravel in my neighborhood but the main roads were clear.  Dress warm if you goo out!

The gravel and cold were not really the issue today, but the ice on the road between Estacada and Molalla forced a round about change.  I had to cancel the plans to Silverton, but still made it a nice ride  (90 miles round trip)  from Motocorsa.    I think the freakiest observation was watching the top of a tree break off in front of me, 5 seconds from stopping at the intersection that it feel into.  The branches were large enough that if I would have timed it just a little bit sooner I would have had to pick myself off the ground.  Sometimes you get lucky.

Looking forward to the next clear day and the next ride.

Saw some riders out today while I was driving around, including a Royal Enfield.  Everyone is getting blown around.  Just got home a little while ago and my street is littered with pine branches falling everywhere.

I went for a little half-hour jaunt in the countryside between Wilsonville and West Linn... beautiful, but COLD.  My hands were numb for a couple minutes after I got back... and that was with thermal liners under my leather gloves.

The wind was pretty gnarly.  Gravel everywhere too, but no big deal... I assumed it would be, so I wasn't getting rambunctious in the corners.  I just had to go for a ride.

Cold?  Yep.  Gravel?  Yep.  Windy?  Oh yeah.  Still worth it?  Definitely.  waytogo  I got my fix for the next little while.
