I am looking at buying a monster 800 with a scored cylinder wall.  The price of a cylinder/piston from ducati is turning me off from the deal, but I am looking at used parts.  I am trying to increase my options, the 695 seams to use the same cylinder bore so I am guessing they are compadable, but how about an older 750.  The bore looks to be the same, I think the piston is different due to the lower compression ratio.  Has any one swaped parts from the older carbed motors to the new fuel injected models, are they mostly compadable?
