tell her Elizabeth is going and they can race down the tollway

We are planning on being there, but method of transport is still up in the air.  Someone wasn't looking forward to the run home in the cold wind on the HM.   [moto]   We will look at the temps/wind in the morning.

I'm out.  Sorry too cold to wash bike in the morning and car has flat tire which I need to have fixed tomorrow.  Y'all enjoy.  Can I have my bike's glamour shots next week instead?

Couldn't make this anyway but my day just took a bad turn. Jennifer's ex is having "their" old dog put down this morning (Jen's first "baby") and then he and I are driving to my farm in East Texas to bury her (the dog that is...) with the rest of my dead dogs. I have a nice canine cemetery. She has been very sick for a long time. Probably should have done this months ago. Lots of drama around here today. Please drink SEVERAL Bloody Marys for me... please! Tongue Ya'll have fun, at least I know someone will be enjoying the day. Undecided

Sorry to hear, man. We also had to put a few sick dogs down over the years (still got their paw prints preserved in clay), and no matter how much you know it's better for the pooch, it's always tough.

It all worked out OK. Thankfully Jen's ex and me (and us) get along great. All good for the kids... as it should be. Robert (Colin's Dad) and I trucked down to my East Texas farm and dug Trixie's grave in no time flat. It's all sandy soil down there so it is easy digging. She is buried next to all my dogs. She's in good company. Trixie is resting peacefully as she should be. She is in Doggy Heaven and having a great time I am sure.

Too bad real people don't have the same experience. I wish I could have done the same for my own father and mother. Why do we do such a "civilized/humanitarian" act for animals but we don't do it for humans? I won't go further with this because it is so controversial. When my time comes someone please treat me like an animal. I just want to go like my dogs... is that too much to ask? Tongue Peace. waytogo

Really great to see everyone at the P, & enjoyed having people over after. There are photos somewhere...

Huge thanks to Kirk, Stan, & William for helping return the Flying Brick to its rightful glory waytogo
