Just as the title says, only I'm looking for dyno results comparing an ex-box exhaust with a full termi or arrow.  I believe the full termi or arrow makes more power, but I'd like to know how much more before I go about designing an exhaust system for my bike.  Biggest thing I can see is the exbox or underengine exhaust has no room for a proper merge collector...which is important for power production.

Can't quite decide if loosing 10lbs is worth the power loss of the underengine exhaust (the loss I'd suspect).

The proper way to do it (IMHO) is the termi, but I can't stand the shotgun look, and I'd like to be "different".

I also don't want quite as much noise as my megs in the video....

Hey man, I looked and can't find my actual printout but:

An 07 w/ 50mm full Termi system and a PCIII (cuz I had to have it running just so) on an actual factory Dynojet dyno (at an approved dynojet tuner) yielded 139.8 RWHP and 81.1 Ft LBS on a 70 degree day. It is quite possible that I lost a couple of HP by running a fairly fat A/F ratio (13:1). But I wanted it for reliability and cooler running.

I bring up the dyno mfg and location as you are gonna some some wild numbers depending on the type of dyno and the correction factor used. I figured an actual Dynojet dyno from a certified tuning station would give you a solid number as a reference point.

I'm actually hoping to find someone who had the ex box and then got the termi's, AND had it dyno'd at the same place.  Or at least a dyno facility that has done either exhaust on different bikes would be a good start.

Comparing bike A to bike B at different dyno's, is pretty much worthless (unfortunately).

Your not going to see much of a gain of any from the E-box. I was looking into this about 6 months again and I called up Motowheels and asked them about this and they said the E-box was just for looks. I already knew this, but wanted to hear from them.

I have full Arrows, open airbox, K&N, and a DP ECU, my bike put down 132 RWHP, and 74 LBFT. Should be a little higher once I get a PCIII  Grin
