I was at my dealer and they had an S on the floor.
It's higher to sit on, but still need the other seat. For my heart, it still does (almost) nothing, but that's not important.
I noticed an exhaust valve - it's there to pass noice tests - probably first thing to go. It has two O2 sensors.

Not much more to say - just wanted you guys to see what I've seen.

Going to go see one tonight at the dealer here in town.  Mostly to just get out of the house, as I'm not really keen on the new bike.  Maybe in the flesh it will be better.

Don't get your hopes up :-\

It's probably a great ride though [thumbsup]

There appears to be a substantial improvement in fit and finish...virtually no visible wires or connectors.  I like it.

I wonder where they got that idea.  ;)
Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

That thing is just screaming for an aftermarket rearset.  I really don't care for the one piece front and rear pegs.

I just had the 1-piece sets on my 696 painted black (along w/ heat shields, exhaust hangers, headlight trim, etc.). Helps the look a lot. I wanted to keep passenger pegs, so no aftermarket rearsets as yet.

I saw it at IMS and I liked it. But again, I like/own a M696 so ...

the frame and rear sets are deal killers for me..........still
I'm here for a good time, but not a long time.

Just saw one at my dealer. It was custom painted (not online for the challenge) with some really nice mods done. I actually really liked it surprisingly. Of course it wasn't stock but most of us change stuff anyway. The only real problem I had with it was the rearsets and exhaust but I can see past that  :)

JTMOTO

+1 on the rearsets.. do love the instrument panel.

I can't get over that subframe.   Why did they do that?  And the swingarm.  The whole bike has a real parts-bin special to it.  I know they didn't get the gold wheels from the Tri-color run, but that's what I think when I see them.
