Well..... today is Friday

My goal was not met.

I'm still sans employment.

fudge :-[

This morning, I went with lm to Ethan's (lms son) award dealio it his school. Sitting amongst the parents and students, I  was stuck with a "this is what I should be doing" kind of feeling.

I loved hearing the students clap when their teachers and fellow students won awards... I loved seeing the smiles on the kids faces when their names were called, and I love hearing lms success stories.

I like the idea of making a difference in the world.

I like the idea of having a career that matters.

lm and I talked about it a lil during dinner, and I think we'll be doing quite a bit more talking about in the weeks to come.

I may be able to be hired on as an alt. ed. aid while I take classes at the local JC, and when the time is right, all transfer over to csub, and finish up there.

I'm think'n this may be my thing.

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

Good luck Joel

I figure.... I liked my last job, but I put in 6 hard years of dedication to a job that in the end, benefited nobody.

If I put that same amount of energy and effort into school, I'd have something to show for it.

and..... I'd be doing more doing, than talking about doing.

You will hate the system.

Frustration will get to you.

You will work your tail off only to be told by others you have an easy job and are overpaid.

Then again, every once in a while you will make a difference and it will all be worth while.

Then again, you know that, you married a teacher.

GO FOR IT, the world will be a little better because of you 8)
