That's outside the "new" Frasers, right? Do you know who dialed the cams and what specs they used? Is it a DP flywheel or a machined stocker?
curious-big
Big, yes it was the new Frasers. The bike had the cam work done at Frasers in the Gong and they told me it was a DP flywheel. As for specs I don't have them. What I did notice was a huge difference between how smooth the power delivery was for this bike compared to the stock S4R I road on the same test ride. What ever they did was very noticeable as I'm no race experience. They have the full service history at Frasers that they said they'd provide along with the stock parts.
Are you fully recovered physically?
Recoveries taken way longer than I'd hoped. I had surgery on my leg to remove the haemotoma prechristmas and since then I've been a lot more comfortable. Went back to work last week and now having phyiso to get all my bits (legs and shoulder that is) working again properly. Long term, my left leg won't have any fat under the skin along with a bunch of bumps and holes but hay, it isn't like have to model them to too many folk.
I certainly have enough fat everywhere else that will compensate
. I expect the shoulder to fully recover now that I've started phyiso
What 'bits' are making the transition from the girlsyellow bike?
I salvaged the STM clutch slave cylinder, oil breather, frame plugs, oil filler cap and HID head lamp which will go straight on. The STM billet clutch basket, pressure plate and cover took a flogging along with the billet pegs. The weekend before the accident I purchased Rizoma Reservoirs, grips and LED blinkers at the Sydney Bike Show. Fortunately i didn't have time to install them so they'll also go straight on as well.
I also salvaged the carbon side covers, DP ECU and most importantly, the brand new Ohlins rear suspension which amazingly didn't get a scratch on it! I only installed a few weeks prior so I'll be looking to sell this stuff if anyone is interested.
I'm awaiting to get it home to finalise a list of bits to get but so far it looks something like this:
- bling bits
- adjustable leavers
- mirrors
- carbon rear end and fender eliminator
- open clutch cover and new pressure plate
- essentials
- new tank cover to take my tank bag
- single sided rear stand
- chain tensioning spanner
- rear nut spanner
I think I'll be happy for a little while once these are taken care off.
