If I do make it, I would be up for a trip up the twisties to the Bay Area, then head back east via Hwy 50.

Stop by our new place. Grin

Hi All!

As for bikini jello wrestling...   Grin  Seriously, I'm not.

Let me know if any of you have any other ideas we might incorporate.  I appreciate your support.  See you all here!   waytogo

Suggestion:  Jello wrestling sounds fun and all; but at a more practicle level; and not to be overstepping the bounds of being a guest and all; but a hot tub is always fun; and maybe it was the previous pics of one; I'v been to yard party where they've rented one; I'll chip in (5$/person?)... or maybe you have one already?!  Just a thought. popcorn

Sounds like an interesting idea.   waytogo  I'll look into that.

Some of you have asked for information on the hotels in the area, so for everyone who's interested in getting a room, here you go:

Grand Vista Hotel in Simi Valley: www.grandvistasimi.com - (805) 583-4000
Best Western Posada Royale Hotel and Suites in Simi Valley: www.posadaroyale.com - (805) 584-6300
Courtyard Ventura Simi Valley: marriott.com - (805) 915-5000
Holiday Inn Express Simi Valley: www.hiexpress.com - (877) 863-4780

The above hotels are within 10 minutes of my house and decent to nice.

Let me know if any of you need help with anything else!   Cheesy

There's also a new Coutyard off 101 in Newbury Park that's pretty nice, I stay there often.

I've been trying to ride for longer distances.  Last weekend, I did the 2 1/2 hours (and back) to Fresno as a warm up.  Hopefully my butt cheeks will toughen up enough for the long ride down.  It's on my calendar.

Hugs to you River.

Hi all!

Here's the update:

We are starting to get ramped up for the big affair.  I don't have an answer on the motorcycle museum in Ojai yet but am confident that it will be one of our waypoints on the big ride.  I have also started logging requests for camping/sleeping space and so far, so good.  (Yes, I'm a geek with an Excel spreadsheet.  Sue me.  Grin)

Just to clarify a few points:
*If we run out of space you'll either need to a) find someone with a sleeping bag who is willing to share with you, or b) find another place to stay.
I will ask for a final head count around March to make sure we are going to be okay on space and let you know if you need to find another place to hang.  I'm keeping tabs on a first-come first-served basis.
*Please make sure you get your bikes and gear checked out prior to heading to my place.  (Yes, I've been accused of sounding like my mother.   Shocked)  I know it sounds like a silly request that goes without saying, but I'm just sayin'...
*Also, please be aware that this is an ADULT party.  You must be at least 18 or older to attend.  This is mainly because I don't want to get arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor...or for any other reason, for that matter.

I'm sorry Riv, I won't be able to make it.  Undecided
That's ok!  I'll see you in February!  Looking forward to it.   Wink

There's also a new Coutyard off 101 in Newbury Park that's pretty nice, I stay there often.

Thanks for that, Trouble!  You're right--it's nice and relatively close.

It's on my calendar.

Hugs to you River.

Great!  Looking forward to seeing you then.  Hugs to you too!

Have a nice afternoon/evening/day all!
