I know, I wonder if I can talk my Fiance into a layover there on the way to our honeymoon.  I doubt that will go over well though   [laugh]

MonsterSteve

impressive yes, I still like how the torque on the HM1100S comes in so early though.

Nice..... in stock form it's nearly equal to my S2R1K which has full Arrows, open lid & the HM DP ECU.......should pick up nicely with a DP ECU & some pipes [thumbsup]

Mine did 84.5 HP & 64.8 Ft/lbs TQ at the rear wheel on a Dyno Jet dyno.  Guess I should keep it ;)

SO, what do you think makes the difference between the 3 motors?

I think it's the airbox.......... they're small on the HM & MS

SO, what do you think makes the difference between the 3 motors?

I just posted this on our local club forum answering that same question  [thumbsup]

The possible explanation can be the fact that we have three different engines here..  1st generation 1100DS motor in the Hyper, 2nd generation in the MTS with wet clutch, 3rd generation the new M1100S.  New engine cases, redesign on some internals, exhaust etc, AND it also uses the new Siemens FI with dual lambda sensors.  It's not noticeable on this chart but there is less of the "EPA dip" at 3500 as well.  All three bikes were all floor demos with around 150+ miles on each, but they were done on different days and weather conditions but all on our Dyno in the room Marty at the grip..   You can also "feel" the difference in the engine and the way it grabs RPM's...  it feels crisp  [moto]

Come find out for yourself..  6-7 days of sun coming up, a 2009 RED M1100S Demo ready to go and so is an 09 MTS1100 and a Hyper 1100, come compare all three..  back to back.  All we ask is that you give us your feedback, if you like it and want one..  We have both a red and a white in the house for sale..  The "Art Bike" is not for sale quite yet.

Duc seattle uses a superflow dyno which typically reads lower than a Dynojet.

They know there stuff around tuning with a dyno.

For you 4v guys, have them build and tune a 1080 motor for you.

Looks nice.   [thumbsup]

Now all I have to do is figure out how to print a copy big enough to cover the bike itself so I can't see how ugly it is.

[cheeky]
