"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Well, went and drove the F150. It's a good amount bigger than my current F150. It drives well, good power, seamless transition from 2 to 4wd. I didn't drive the FX4 cause they didn't have one, but I did drive a 4wd Crew Cab to get an idea. I like it. Still wanna drive some others before I commit, but they aren't making it easy with the limited hours. Hell, most of them aren't open on Sundays at all and the ones that are, only a few hours...

Iowa car and motorcycle dealers are closed on Sundays by law.  The idea is that buyers can window shop without pressure from sales people.

Well, I think I have decided on the F150. Pricewise, it seems to be the best deal. The back doors open wider, the back seat is flat out bigger, 6sp auto in a truck will give it decent highway mileage. The Titan comes in a 5'7" bed or a 7'3" bed. One is too small, the other too big. The F150 has a 6'5" which is what my truck has now and I think it's the perfect size.
The Titan was up a bit in power (317 vs 310) and tq (385 vs 365) but it's not that noticeable.
They both sound good stock, but they won't stay that way.

Price is similar for both, although I think I can get a better deal at the Ford dealership trading in my Ford.

The new F150 looks like a nice truck.  The old F150 used to be the same chassis and body as the 250 and 350 series.  Then they turned the 150 into an over sized car.  I never liked that generation.  The suspension was mushy, the ergos were bad, engine access was horrible considering the size of the hood, and it was much harder to navigate with that car like round nose.  The new F150 seems like a truck again.

Go to Edmunds online and print out the dealer invoice and option prices before you go into the dealer.  They are really hurting for business right now and you should be able to name your own price.  Be prepared to start walking toward the door at the slightest bit of bullshit and they will immediately cave in.

I'd sell private.

Dealers aren't paying too much on trades, at least that is the trend around here.

I'm in a unique situation where it is much easier for me to trade it in. Plus, I don't want to deal with the hassle and potential time it could take to sell my truck...
