Why does marlboro sponsor them anymore when their logo is bar coded even in photo ops?

Cool pics on Nicky's site.

i'm not sure.  if you look at the big one on the side with it's red/white up top and smaller black/white underneath it reminds me of the marlboro logo albeit an "encrypted" version of it.

have you read about their arrangement w/ ferrari f1? not only do they sponsor the team, marlboro owns all the signage rights on the car. the team doesn't even have to worry about selling advertising on the car. if somebody wants their logo on the ferrari, they have to go buy the space from marlboro.

Did not know that.

I have paid attention to the progression though - a few years ago, no cigs in Europe, then it started migrating, and now I am not sure if any tracks allow it.

Crazy.

Watch for the Quattar race. No champagne, no 1/2 nekid umbrella girls, but MARLBORO on the side of the bikes.  Undecided

it's only bar coded in the countries that require it.  or won't allow the word, more like.

and not that they ever actually give out tech specs of current GP bikes but this 'release' cracks me up.  it's just marketing.
