Wow! F#@king awesome Gman!! What I wouldn't give to go to the Isle of Man races!! It ranks many spots above the Barber track/Barber museum trip!! Which is way up on my list. That is a once in a life time trip. How cool is that? One of my favorite videos of all time is an old VCR tape of Joey Dunlap doing a hot lap with it recorded off his helmet cam. I think he was on an older V-4 1000 Honda. It was from the 80's... I think. Awesome stuff!

Maybe you can hang out with Hodgson since he is from there! applause

Also met him at AMS/Dallas a while back and got him to sign a Hodgson/Ducati poster (that's framed and hanging in my garage with other world champ signed posters) and a Ducati book. Very nice guy. He was a real gentleman. Didn't hassle him about his racing stuff... it was just business. Sign this stuff and I won't hassle you. I was impressed with his demeanor and attitude. Nice guy and a real pro! waytogo Hope he heals up for the next AMA race! [moto]

Hey Giannis,

Do you know how soon in advance those ferry tickets need to be booked?  I'm tossing around the idea of going to the TT... maybe '10 will be the year!

Yep, looks the curse of the #2 Ducati rider continues. Bummer. Hope it gets better.

Good news for Zemke though. He deserves a shot at SBK again. Even if for just a few races. On the world stage too... which is nice. waytogo

ill get them this fall.... they usally sold out before spring. Would be cool to be this year since they have Rossi there... You might be able to find airplane tickets for this year but you have to use public transportation for the good spots and try hard to find a room or even a bed!  Grin Would be cool to camp but IOM gets wet that time of the year  laughingdp

If Hayden has same results as Marco it will be hard for Ducati to find a B rider for 2010.. nobody will want to ruin their year by being backmarkers... Check Melnadri with a privater bike ends up 6th  applause bow down

it seems to me that the duc must be ridden right on the edge all the time. look at the way the thing moves around constantly with stoner. maybe they need to find someone willing to ride like that every corner of every lap. any suggestions? what about a call up from the minors (250)? bautista, barbera or simoncelli just throwing out ideas. alittle embarrassing to watch a factory bike that far back and off the pace.

I am sure Nicky is not happy about the situation. That's not his style. He's a hard worker and an "up front" kind of guy. I don't know what the problem was in Spain. I didn't read or hear anything that would have caused his poor results. Sure, it's easy to see the issues in the first two races but not Jerez. Maybe he was still banged up and just didn't go public about it. Kind of a "man up" deal. Who knows.

I know this gives svoloch a warm and IZ_ feeling to see him floundering at the back but I certainly had a lot of hope for the Hayden/Ducati pairing. Will he beat Stoner? No. I just want to see some decent results. More specifically, I just want him to put Pedrosa and Puig on the trailer and watch them whine about it!!! Pay back is hell Dani!!!

The real question is will Nicky get another chance at a GP ride if the Duc deal goes south.  I mean couldn't believe the ride Melandri had on Sunday; who is this guy anyaway?!?  He's probably just glad he escaped with his life after his Desmo run-in  Undecided  Hope it works out for Hayden - he's a better rider than his results indicate...
