This is only indirectly related (at best Grin), but I thought some of you might get a kick out of it:

This is just awesome stuff! I can't believe how fast these guys are lapping the IOM course. I remember when breaking "the ton" was a huge deal. If you have never seen it you have to watch the old video of Joey Dunlap (I think...) with a bike mounted camera. I am sure there are several more modern vids of a flying lap but that was the first one I ever saw and it still sticks with me. These guys are fearless. bow down

That was one unbelievably crazy race yesterday.  Further proof of an awesome season.  It's all VERY close still, and watching Lorenzo pull that kind of riding out of the Doctor was unbelievable...   Not hard to see from their riding how much these 2 do NOT get along.  There was so much shouting at Rembrandt for the last bit of that race...

With Stoner, Rossi, and Lorenzo at the front, and some great riders nipping at their heels, can't afford to miss a single race this year...

Oh and for all the back and forth last year about why I thought Hayden would suck it in Ducati's second seat...   Well.  Nuff said.  It should have gone to Canepa, who would have benefitted from the developement.  He and Hayden are not that far off, and Hayden's got the factory bike.

Apparently they've invested in some high tech cameras for this year's Isle of Man TT...

Dang, that was so cool! I truely wanted to catch this on TV but could not find any coverage here in the states except on the web.

That was some nice Hi-Def slomo. Now if the speed channel and the European producers could fire up the HD signal to send over here it would be nice. 'm so tired of watching WSBK in 720p. I mean that's so last week lame  Roll Eyes. Bring on 1080p!

Yeah, I couldn't find any coverage in Belgium either, and I'm too much of a wuss to stream ITV4 illegally...

Oh, and someone was kind enough to put 15 minutes of Guy Martin together:

Can't wait to buy this year's DVD... (and last year's as well, actually)

Talk about stealthy...

Not sure if the Isle of Man TT broadcast covered this but this series could be awesome.  Potentially kind of weird... fast but no sound  Undecided
