great ending.

i have trouble believing that a person actually pronounces "Lorenzo" and "Jerez" as "Lorentho" and "Jereth". If that's the Spanish pronunciation, I'll be damned, but it certainly sounded like a selective lisp from the Speed network.

Speed commentators during F1 races have always pronounced it "Jereth."  Lorentho, on the other hand just sounds wrong  bang head

Oh, and who the hell is Kenny Noyse?!   Shocked   If you haven't watched the Moto2 race yet, do it!

He's Kenny Noyes, that's who: http://www.kennynoyes.com/

It was also very nice to see #24 show the premier class a big taste of what they are missing by not giving him a ride this year. Tongue

Born in Barcelona, raised in the USA: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenny_Noyes
I really dug the Zebra-striped tire warmers he was sporting on the grid!

i am not sure. Tardozzi was obviously a big part, but another element is our bike is unchanged from the previous year. Most of the other bikes have changed, and there's the brand new BMW. First season in the championship, or a manufacturer with a new iteration usually has a bit of an advantage (if they've put something competitive together at all) because there's no way to [yet] limit them or disadvantage them for even competition. I think this is part of it.

Quote
Three-time World Superbike champion and full-fledged Ducati racing hero Troy Bayliss is contemplating a return to World Superbike racing.
.
.
Reached last night in his hotel room in Italy, the Australian spoke with Superbikeplanet.com about his retirement and unhappiness in leaving racing, which many infer happened a season or two too early.

Asked if, after a full season of not racing, he has come to terms with being retired, Bayliss said in his characteristically blunt fashion, "Not one little bit, not at all."

"I quit too early," Bayliss said last night. "I'm pissed off because I stopped one championship short of Fogarty and I'm seven wins down on him."

or Spies?
Kind of sad he does it only two races in.  If I were Ducati I'd pull the bike and sideline his ass - if rules allow it.
