Or you could wait for Casey Stoner's lower fairing panels to show up on eBay in November.... Grin

Awesome race results today from Aragon!!!! waytogo applause popcorn

Also nice to see Colin Edwards hanging around the MotoGP pits for another year. He will be a great advisor/mentor for Crutchlow just like he was with The Ben.

I just got off the phone with one of my best friends since childhood. He was calling me from the Bonneville Salt Flats. He was there because his older brother (Charles Nearburg) was going for the wheel driven/piston engine/non-supercharged world speed record held since 1965 by the Summer's Bros. Goldenrod streamliner. The 45 yeard old record was 409.277 mph over the timed mile. Charles broke it this morning with an average of 414 and change!! waytogo His streamliner is named the Spirit of Rhett after his son who died at age 21 of cancer in January 2005. Neat stuff for sure. applause bow down chug

Giant V-8. Charles says it's very similar in nature to a NHRA Pro Stock motor in size and power output. It was also running a nitros set up. Some outfit in Arlington built the engine. It's a full streamliner. I had pics on my old email account from a year or two ago but our hard drive crashed and we lost everything. I am sure my friend will send out pics later. If he does I'll post them.

went to the flats long ago when they were preparing and such, never had time to watch them race.  DO NOT wear boxers - for women, no skirts.  Don't ask.

Really interesting Superpole results from Imola. It's gonna be a wild one! I'd like to see Max wrap it up. He deserves it, he's had a really good year. waytogo
