Sad to see this.

It will be weird to not see a factory Duc on the WSBK grid next year. Bummer.

Mass-market build an electric moto like this and they might be on to something:

The gallery pix are worth a click. Great looking bike
Not sure what the Texas Instruments tie-in is tho.

Yeppers, I saw this on a Speedy Moto email. Pretty neat.
Might be what we all are riding in 20 years. [moto]

yes but with 115 lbs +/- of torque immediately available it should feel more like a 400 lbs bike. My only problem is it wont make a sound.

That's why you should start perfecting your motor boat noises now. I practice in the car and while walking the dog. Getting pretty good at sounding like a Yammyhammer cross plane! [moto]

Maybe the production version will have an app that lets you download your favorite engine sounds. Kind of like the Fart/App only different...

it might accelerate that way, but stoplight balancing won't be like a 400 lb bike, slowing down won't be like a 400 lb bike, and turning it won't be like a 400 lb bike
they are going to have to whittle that down some.
