Seems like an odd fit for MotoGP sponsorship but who cares, the more sponsorship dollars the better for the sport.

"After seven years with Yamaha, Valentino Rossi made his first official appearance as a Ducati rider on Tuesday during the Italian squad's annual winter retreat at Madonna di Campiglio."

cool. put any  more canards or barge boards on those things and you've got an F1 car (or a Burt Rutan flying machine)  laughingdp  The Rossi dayglow yellow jus' ain't doin' it for me with the Marlboro Ducati red.  Nothing that 15 or 16 wins won't cure, I'm sure.

Here's an odd little stock offering (potentially):

Not sure how profitable it could be but what a cool thing to have in a portfolio  laughingdp

I've seen that "deal" before: 2007/David Beckham/LA Galaxy.  Doesn't end well and was also insanely expensive.  Maybe Rossi will change his number to 23...

I think Ben Spies is stalking me. laughingdp Pulled onto Lovers Lane around noon heading towards Central and there goes ELBOWZ again. He must have cashed that factory Yamaha paycheck because he finally dumped that piece of shit turbo Porsche Cayenne and upgraded to a Benz. laughingdp It was a mid-side or bigger 4 door sedan (not the real big one) but it had no badging on the back to ID it but it looked like an AMG version. Dark graphite gray (matte not shiny) with aftermarket black wheels/low profile tire set up. Looked nice! waytogo

As usual he was headed to Central Market. There's something there he likes. laughingdp Pulled up next to him when he was in the turn lane for CM and when the light turned green I pulled up and could clearly see he was the driver. I had my window down so I honked, pointed and gave him the thumbs up and he did the same... honked, waved and gave the peace sign. I'm sure he saw the Ducati, Ohlins, etc stickers on my back window as I drove away.

One of these days, before the season starts, I hope to catch him in the parking lot shake his hand and say hi. And also tell him how glad I am he ditched that embarassing POS Porsche!! laughingdp laughingdp Can't wait for the season to start!! waytogo
