I'm in California. Hopefully it won't happen again. T-mob suggested I contact local law enforcement, and make sure to keep the phone bills with the calls on them.
I am just hoping its a one time deal.
I could use a martini.

Just laugh at them. They'll never call you again.
Or don't answer calls from unknown numbers. I never do. If someone really wants to talk to you, they'll leave a message.
Several years ago, my boyfriend at the time got a new cell phone, and soon was getting lots of calls from men looking for sex. I ran a Google search on his phone number and discovered it had belonged to a male escort. He started making me answer the phone.

I don't answer calls from unknown numbers either; particularly as a single parent of a daughter.
Last November my parents were in China and I almost didn't answer when they called because I didn't recognize the string of numbers on the phone. But when the same string then came up on my cell phone, I figured it was someone that I knew.

When I was living in the Dorms in college we had a major problem with this sort of thing...It was pretty easy to figure out which numbers to call since we all had the same first 3 digits to numbers, add that to a campus with an all female residence hall. It was very distrurbing. The local police had us keep a long of the time and date for the incoming phone calls. I'm not sure if it did much in the long run but at least we felt like we were doing
something
to try and catch the pervert.
If it happens again I'd contact the local police and see if they have a procedure for this sort of thing.

I think the number should show up on your bill. Obviously the originating number will show on the CDR, but I'm not sure your provider puts that information on your bill. There is always a way to find out. Behavior like that has to be stopped, since it will continue until someone says something.
I have a kind of silly story about that kind of thing. I had dated a guy for a short period of time, and months later I got a call from him. I let it go to voicemail. I checked the message and heard.... ummm.... well, he wasn't alone. Someone must have rolled over and dialed me on his phone. All of a sudden after a minute or two of ... sounds.... I hear him whisper, "Oh, shit!" *click*

Wow, this thread had dropped down.
In case anybody besides me wants to comment on this post in General (it's not obvious from the title):

I said a little something, but I don't like to get into arguments on the 'net so I left it small. (and yet arguments still find me.

Wow. I got to the thread late so it was seemingly back on track, and I don't want to get him started again.
Good comments from you guys.
(And I'm on my handsfree phone in my unmarked non-company car all too often, but it is 99% business related. Stereotypes. One might comment about people who live 10 minutes from Appalachia..... but that would be wrong.).
