Solo, I'd probably go no further than one of the standard Marin Loops

In a small group I was thinking Mt. Hamilton via Livermore.

So... the bike is running then?

I gotta meeting at 10 else I might do it. Of course my butt is a bit tender after a 100 miles on the Vespa today. Jackie's sister was in town so we did a scooter loop in Marin.  (It takes a lot longer on a scooter than on a Ducati, for some reason.)

Nah, no hooligan chops what with the missus and her sisiter along. I had to behave myself.

And yeah, Mill Valley > Stinson > Pt. Reyes Sta. > Tomales > Chileno Valley > Nicasio > Lucas Valley Rd = ~100 miles.

And I don't mind starting late if you're up for a later ride... after all I want to avoid people going to work. Grin

Not to rub it in, but today was pretty much the best day of riding I've had in about 5 years.

The roads were clean, not a lot of traffic, the temperatures were perfect, and it was so clear the Farallon Islands looked like they were a mile offshore. Plus everything was green for a change.

My only regret is I didn't leave until about 11:30 and that I ate lunch at some overpriced diner in Pt. Reyes instead of holding out for oysters in Tomales Bay  Grin

Ended up joining up with a few different packs of riders during the ride. A gaggle of supermotos heading into Stinson Beach, and then random solo sportbike riders for the rest of the trip.

Also only saw two LEOs the whole ride: Followed a highway patrol car going down into Stinson for a mile or two, and a local cop somewhere near Two Rock (I think. I was sort of meandering around there)

Also sighted a 696 (two up) stopped by the turnoff for Bolinas. Anyone ? Bueler? Anyone?

What a day what a day.
I finally got out and did a baby loop around the headlands. It was incredible. Very few cars that were easy to get by - the view amazing.
More of that please.
