That's got to put a big crimp in Hopper's MGP plans.

Something tells me that this whole situation was a silver lined cloud that was much hoped for by Monster.

Where did my money go?

Rossi already has so many high level sponsors. I can't help thinking that maybe he should have turned this one down and allowed the wealth to be spread around a little.

Eventually it could be just Valentino running a Moto GP of one

that's the wrong end of the telescope.  if you're monster, who's at the top of your list for people you want to sponsor?

not 'giving' rossi that money would only be a step down in terms of smart investment for them.  whatever they give him, they'll get back 5-or-10-fold.  they wouldn't give it to him otherwise.

I agree completely which is why I said he should have turned it down. Monster obviously want a presence in MotoGP racing, and the rest of the paddock is screaming for major sponsors except Rossi.

should he start throwing races too?

i know it's an exaggerated take on what you're saying, but regardless of his level of success, he earned it.

 Roll Eyes yes it is

But maybe he shouldn't be allowed to use qualifiers. It makes for a much better race when he starts on the 3rd or 4th row. Wink
