Anyone ever been to the buddhist temple in Kent NY?  There are some great roads up there and then there is this Massive buddhist temple in the middle of no where, its crazy. They let you walk around and are really nice.  It's also a great ride.

I usually do the Connecticut thing as there are some great roads past Bridgeport.  Went out there the other day but was kicking the tail out everywhere because of the salt.

Let me know when and where yall.  Look forward to meeting everyone.

Don't know about the Buddhist temple but we did come across a big eerie looking Ashram-type place years ago while hiking/camping upstate.

I keep scanning the forum with the good weather coming back for rides.  I'll eventually jump on to them when I can.  Especially when I see more than just the usual few (nothing negative meant here) popping up with ride suggestions.

Some 30 years ago.  At that time they had a decent restaurant also.  A trip there might indeed be a nice short day ride and social gathering.

Several rides I did last year past by there.  btw, there is also a Kent, CT  Smiley  Definitely great roads and scenery all along the New England states.
will probably past by there again sometime in June when I'm planning to ride up to the Gray Ghost in Maine.  [moto]

Now that the season is getting closer I was thinking a meet at Hiram's prior to rolling all the bikes out of storage might be in order to get to know all the people who expressed intrest in a riding group.
If anyone else thinks this might be a good idea let me know and we'l lsee what we can put together.

Also anyone who might be interested please give some consideration to possible ride routes that we can use once the season strats. I won't ask anyone to post them up, but I might ask people for a route off forum if they intend to ride in our group.

Really glad to see intrest in this and looking forward to sharing the road with some of you this season.

I won't be able to join in on the rides until about the end of June as my fractured collar bone should completely heal by then.

I think it is about time to start the Hirams meet again.

I can post up here when it's looking good weather wise for a Thursday night if everyone is still interested.

As for the Sunday rides, I do have a list of e mail addresses from people who expressed intrest and once I clear some personal issues I will be getting in touch with those people off list to arrange a date and time and place.
If there's anyone who hasn't sent me there info and might be interested in Sunday rides, feel free to e mail me with the info I outlined in my previous post.

Looking forward to seeing some friends from last season and meeting some new ones this season.
