im startin to think just buying a tank would be easier/cheaper than welding mine and having it repainted.  Anyone have a tank for sale or know of anyone with a tank for sale? I got a 2002 M750, yeah i know long shot but my next resort is ebay.

It would be a big PITA to drain my tank, take all the stuff out of it, clean it out, weld it, then prep it and then pay someone $250 to paint it when i can get one off ebay for $200.  Problem is though you never know what your getting through ebay, could be just another leaky tank.

Theres some on ebay that are ending in several days. I searched for "ducati tank". Not sure if they'll still be in your price range by the time bidding is over though.

I just practically stole a spare tank off ebay.  Keep an eye out, there are some bargains right now on tanks.

Well my tank has now been offically welded and its on its way to be painted.  At least i learned how to drain the tank out, unhook all the hoses, get the tank off and get all the fuel injection crap out of the tank.  Oh yes lets not forget washing the tank out multiple times. Anyways its all fixed now. Im going to put the stock sticker back on it in red this time. Dont know if anyone noticed but my tank decal before was a gold colored old school ducati lettering. Now i just have to get it all back together right when the tank comes back. Poor bike just sitting in my garage without a seat or tank looks funny.
