Pics or it didn't happen Cher!

Dammit, this is a tough crowd, but I'll come clean; I put 30 large on the card.  Just one pix so far:

Yeah, of course I'm joking (I know - weird but true).  Didn't test drive anything while at AMS but I will say that new Monster 1100S is awfully sweet... Or there's that Hypermotard.

And there was this pearl white Multistrada... Or the yellow 1098... Or

CRAP!  I've got to start robbing more ATMs.  Or maybe  Tresgatos will let me ride the Hypermotard for a while?  Evil

Oh and RED, I forgot to comment on your pix; is that a new leather jacket?  Very nice  waytogo

lunch sounded fun...wish i had a cool job where i could leave my little 3-block radius for lunch...   Undecided

so, are you getting rid of the 620 for sure then?

RIDE THE MOTARD!!! You just had to bring that up again Evil

Yeah, I'll let you ride her after I witness whether or not you are tall enough.  I bet you are.

Was I lying?  Maybe we will find out on Sunday. Smiley

Nice pics--looks like it was a fun lunch. I was gnawing on a hummus and whole wheat tortilla wrap at my meeting in Plano at about the same time you all were sipping cold adult beverages on that patio....  Tongue

Very quick you are, yes. I am seriously trying my hardest to get a new bike. I'm hoping I can take my bike in for service and ride out with a new S. Wanted the PS at Euro, but I'm a credit criminal it seems. I know they don't want to keep them on the floor so I'm thinking when things loosen up a bit that will happen. My riding style now seems to be pointing to something I can ride harder. We'll see how things go. But I definately want an 1198s. There you go I'm out now!

Excellent! Now that you're out, you'll have to decide which color, red or black. AMS is getting some in next week, but it doesn't sound like they are all spoken for. They will be getting more later too, I think this is just the first shipment.  Looks like the timing may work out to get your ST serviced and sold so you can get something more to your liking.

After reading this months issue of Motorcyclist , the Italian issue, I was totally sold. The bike is almost the same everything as last years 'R'. It's not going to be an easy sell to spousal unit but it is afterall our 20th anniversary. I will have to give her something that takes her mind off a new bike. Can you say bling? Ha ha!

Yep good times downtown - maybe you can make it next time  waytogo

My 620 is definitely for sale.  I've been taking tons of pictures trying to set up a photobucket viewing page; they need editing and some organization before they're presentable though.  Malynn has expressed a serious interest so she'll get first shot at it.

I'll post the "ad" here on this local board first, then a day or two later I'll also post in the "Monsters for Sale" section.

I knew I'd see it your way so that is what I was thinking of doing. How big should I get her? Are there any rules for the 20th? Guess I need to talk to Dan huh?

You know, it's kind of sad that as good as the 848/1098/1198 bikes are they have not yet acheived the fabled bike status of previous Ducati bikes. By that I mean the famous "designer tag". Who designed that line of bikes? I don't know who he/they are. Does anyone? EVERYONE knows who Fabio Taglioni/Dr. T is and what he did, then there are the Tamburini bikes and the Terblanche bikes. All are immediately known at the mere mention of the name. But the name of the designer for the new line of SBKs seems to be hidden away in the dark shadows of the factory. I am sure they are out there somewhere but who the hell are they?? They are getting no respect... Tongue
