Pfft! Ben who? Go Brits!!! Not a qualifying tyre in sight and beats Bayliss' lap record.
It's going to be an interesting season.

as well as just generally routing for the Brits, the folks that have come to WSBK from BSBK are really turning things on an ear to a degree...like the HM PLant Honda's last year for example...Haslam ain't no slouch and Johnny Rea and Shayne Byrne along with Kiyo will have the propensity to destroy the field in the wet with their used to riding in the rain comfort levels...look at Kiyo's wet Superpole antics last year as an example...

traffic is racing and WSBK is a paddock full of guys you have to really fight against to get around...

Like I said last year, old Ben isn't used to having to compete with 25 or 30 other guys who are just as fast as him. Also AMA superbike isn't the blood sport that WSBK is.

(befoer y'all jump down my throat, that is my opinion) Grin

i don't disagree in principle.  however if you carefully watched the last 3 AMA seasons, it definitely was a blood sport between he and mat.  no, he doesn't have experience in wsbk-level crowds.  but he did get the best possible prep he could have gotten in this country.  beating mat is like wrestling a wolverine.

and if it were all just a foregone conclusion, we'd have nothing to bicker about....  Wink

now imagine him fighting against a whole paddock full of wolverine's....or even just say that half the paddock is wolverine's even...till a lot harder of a field to push against.
