It also hits the shift linkage when retracted, so a little nub welded on will take care of that.
I've got that problem with the rizoma rearsets - it doesn't hit but tucks in under it.  I can't lower it with boots on (shoes work though) so I lean over and lower the stand by hand.

Is there room with the rearsets to build and shape a grab point by welding?

+1 to cutting and welding length to the stock piece. I cut the foot off of mine and welded in a 1" long piece of 1/2" round bar. I beveled both pieces and blended it out. 30 minutes in the garage. a welding shop minimum would be in the $40-$60 range. I'm not nay saying a manufactured unit, just informing.

Update:

I got word back from Swatt that he will work up a design and pricing, but it will be a couple of weeks due to projects in process and other commitments.  If there are any special requests (e.g. black, or Huh?), now (or at least in the near future) is the time to get your wish list in...

I'll post more information as it becomes available.

Black for me. I guess powdercoated, but that's not important

Update (of sorts... at least to add closure to the thread):  After multiple, regular follow-ups, and after receiving multiple, regular excuses and non-responses, I have given up.  Embarrassed  I just ordered the cycle cat stand from oncycles (which seems to be very fairly priced BTW).

Well, thanks for trying waytogo

The CycleCat stand is not for S*R bikes, is it?

Correct, my understanding is non-S*R bikes only.
