why put a exhaust one on the back, when you can mount a full sized on the front??  Grin

I think that was the bike they built for the release of my helmet  cheeky

...notice the speaker just behind the seat?

Well it would be nice to have something different instead of the obligatory carbon fiber termis or arrows... Oh well, we shall see, thanks for all the replies, and don't worry if you do think i'm a tosser for getting them, I wouldn't have posted on here if I didn't think it would be a bit tosserish myself  waytogo Thanks for being honest, this is my first duke so I was just wanting to see what the response would be from an established community of monster owners.

Go for it... My friend has them on his Hornet which is about to get a military green/drab paint scheme... It's all about what you like, and I think you would be the first one I've seen with them on a Ducati.

This was brought up previously on TOB. (http://www.ducatimonster.org/forums/accessories-mods/155502-tailgunners.html)  Apparently a couple guys there were doing it.
One guy had them on his 1995 Ducati E900 (Elefant)
Sound Clip:

As I understand from reading that thread, you have to do a 2-into-1 exhaust to get enough force to make them spin.

This would make traffic fun!!! Evil If the front gun was functional I would it full of blanks and use it as a horn.

By the way, how do you like the Domain 2 helmet? I've got the first generation Domain. Not too noisy and it vents really well. Kinda looks gigantic though.

As far as the tailguns, do whatever you want! If you don't feel like an ahole with them on, who cares?
