I don't think it's a case of respect so much as it is decency.  I know plenty of people I don't respect that much, but no matter what their circumstances, I'd never think to take advantage of someone like this.  Dad looked him up on the County website and apparently he's not even 19 yet.  As soon as her case gets moved to the top of the list (there are an unfortunate amount of shit heads in my hometown that require a lot of police work) an officer should come by with some photos.  I don't know what kind of jail time he can get for something like this, but I hope it's substantial.  Welcome to adulthood you little bastard.

Then again, torture by brulee torch just may be a worse punishment than jail time in our "white collar resort" of a county lockup, not to mention more embarassing.  Could the torcher be wearing a pink apron and possibly tickle him at the same time while yelling at him in French??  Thanks for the help folks, I'll let you know if I'm gonna host a lychin' (yes, there is plenty of garage space for your bikes, and no mods I don't mean a real lynching    )

Ha!! Justice is served!!!!  The caught the little make the beast with two backser.  My loveley parents (I already yelled at dad.  This is the same guy that "forgot" to tell his son he was going in for a "minor" surgery to remove a tumor from his neck) neglected to tell me that he's been in jail now for 29 days and that the hearing was just held.  He got 60 days (minus the 29 he's already served) in the County pen, has to pay all court fees, owes my grandmother $77 in restitution (what kind of random ass number is that??) and has two years of probation with $25 a month probation fee.  Doubt grandma will ever get her 77, the kid had to use a court appointed lawyer due to his financial situation.  I don't give a shit.  He's done.  I figured he'd get off with a slap on the wrist and MAYBE a years probation, but this sentence is so much more satisfying.  My grandma has since moved out of her house into an apartment so there's no chance of retribution on his part.  As it turns out his brother has quite the rap sheet as well.  I guess scummery runs in the family.  i wish I still lived there in town when all this went down, but I'm glad he got what he deserved.

I suppose none of you really care/need to hear all this, I just figured it would be nice to hear that the Justice system does work from time to time.  To all you police officers/detectives out there on the board, keep up the good work  .  I'm gonna go drink some beer and play some pool in celebration.

Really happy to hear this, man. 60 days still isn't that much (to me) considering what he did to someone who clearly couldn't defend herself, but at least there's some justice in this world.
