It puts the billet aluminum on the motorcycle...

« on: May 05, 2008, 03:51:08 PM »

You guys all know me. You know that I wore my DML heart on my sleeve. I've brought a ton of people into the DML. Whenever I saw a Monster parked on the street I'd card it. I've done this on 3 continents. All the crap going on with the legacy board breaks my heart. So I just ran downstairs and did a little alteration.

Its like the twilight zone in here...

so I was wondering about the "M" logo.  Did VS buy that along with the board?  I really like that logo and it would be sweet if we could just keep and not let them use it, that is if they dont own it...

Yeah, I think it got sold with the board. Jeff owned it.

Maybe we should just give it a little time, pool our ideas, and then go with a fresh logo.

Oh, wait... we tried that with T-shirts before, didn't we? ;:|

And what will become of our beloved toaster? He will no longer have a home to come back to. Huh?

Maybe we should go with a blender this time - seems more useful. Wink

Your Brilliant. I suppose I can try to wear my shirt upside down  Grin

I spent some time cutting out the DML Logo and I really dug how it looks on my Dainese helmet...  Oh well. Guess I should go peel it off  Undecided

I don't feel any particular need to take down the logo.  I might take the ducatimonster.org stuff off some of the stickers, but it's still who we are, even if it's history (and even that has not been determined yet).  We'll see where the local group decides to land.  That said, I'll be over here.

The DML has become too unwieldy, and--as of today--too ungoverned.  I like the old DML-- tech-heavy and knucklehead-light.  This place will be more like that.

Ironically, an envelope full of DML cards arrived in the mail yesterday (I requested them a while back). I guess they're collector's items now.

I have a DML sticker on my fork. It covers scratch marks that I left when I tried to remove my Virginia inspection sticker. It is staying until I find some other sticker that I like.
