I see that Two Brothers Racing has put the 696 slip on cans on their website for sale. I have been waiting for this, might be something I would like to do as I have seen/heard Two Bros exhausts on other bikes and me likey.

http://www.twobros.com/cgi-bin/shopper?search=action&sku=005-24904&searchstart=0&template=Templates/TBRSearchResult-Simple-Duc-696-SO-DUAL_09.html

Anybody have any first hand experience or impressions of these for the 696 yet?

i have yet to see a dyno sheet for a set of termi's and from what everyone's always saying " theres no real performance gain just the music of termis" blah blah blah
its very hard to make a good decision on an expensive pair of cans
know what i mean Vern

Favorite convo i read on this board
"PICS OR IT DIDNT HAPPEN"
"F**K U IT HAPPENED"

Suzuki Blvd M109R " Sliver " = assassinated by cager
PW 696 " Pearl " = traded in
M1100 " Loki " = Viking God of mischief ( Goddess in this case )
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty pristine body, but rather to come in sliding sideways all used up screaming F*CK YEAH WHAT A RDIE!!

+1.  If I am going to spend +1K, I think it is reasonable to inquire about a dyno, weight savings, and expected PC updates for the ECU.

Mivv also has a dyno available for their exhausts.

That has to be the BEST looking carbon fiber I've ever seen. Hands Down. Period. End of Story. No questions asked. Sorry... I think I took it too far. But LOOK at that CF!!!

I agree! they look sweet, but I'd like to hear them, and maybe know about some real life performance gain. That being said - they are bad ass IMHO

Ugly.. Two Bros cans are fine on a Jap bike where bling is where it's at.  I don't know the bike but I saw some two bros can on a bike the other day riding by at a distance and the can stands out way too much.

kinda agree, it's like chrome on a bike. not really needed, can look good, but sometimes too much. i've seen these cans upclose and it is special but not needed.

I think the bike would need a colorful or crazy paint job to make those blend.  Otherwise, they just stand out too much on their own.

It actually doesn't look that bad to me. Could it be much worse? Sure it can. There's always titanium finish for those not liking the CF.

Those look pretty good and I know they sound great. I would go with them.

The plain aluminum ones look alright too. & the logo is less obnoxious than the arrows. The Arrows sound good too BTW.

It appears that you can "customize" the exhaust with some color and logo changes:
