Right... Because feeding them to a fur-covered wood chipper is much more humane than feeding them to a regular one.  [roll]

;)

The squirrels or the cats?

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Edited for clarification.

Ah, much more clear.  Good point.  What was I thinking, the cats don't deserve it [bang]

Gator

Buy enough food to make a cat food trail to BP's house...

He'll keep em.  [cheeky]

If youre not in a cold climate you can fill a bunch of water balloons and set them on the ground.
Like Feck said "Cats have claws, man"
just put the balloons where the cat used to eat.

Just keep replacing them, you dont have to be on watch 24/7
and you dont have to buy something pricey to get rid of them $5 worth of balloons should do it.

If you drive the nicest car in the neighborhood, work in a cash business, and don't pay taxes, you're either a preacher or a drug dealer...

Grampa

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

the other option is to introduce a few coyotes to the neighborhood.
nothing better for thinning the feline population.

an uncle was a rancher. he kept lots of "productive" cats on the property, because kittens were easier for the coyotes to catch than the chickens.

On the big Island , feral cats are a huge problem. they eat the native birds and spread some disease
We had the same problem with both strays and neighborhood cats coming to our house and spraying everything including the Duc, [bang] sitting on it and both our cars. Hose doesn't work, bbgun doesn't work but is fun anyway. (those suckers are jumpy.)
So, we went to Ace hardware and bought a small animal trap. (for the animal lovers out there...It's a small wire cage that slams shut when they step on a small plate) Put a little cat food in there on some tinfoil and leave out overnight. it usually only takes one or two nights but we always catch one. Then we go to the animal shelter and drop off the cats.  Voila..... no more cats! [thumbsup] and they cats often get a home but always get a ride in the back of the truck. ;D

there was going to be something humorous here, but, unfortunately, i was in charge of the typing, and this is all i could come up with.

lauramonster

spray something noxious, or catch them and give them to someone else bp !!!!

coyote urine should do the trick!!

they'll eventually disappear if you're not feeding them.  just gotta figure out how much patience you have..
Frickin' snow!

Not exactly the same problem...but this crazy lady that used to live across the street from us was feeding a stray cat before she moved.  She has since come over and asked us if we would put food out cause it's cold and she's worried about the cat.  We never did, but the other day I walk out of my house and there is a pile of cat food on my sidewalk next to my front door.  This woman is actually driving back to our neighborhood where she doesn't live anymore and trying to lure this cat (that is probably dead by now, I've NEVER seen it) to our house thinking we will feed it.

Automated sprinkler system connected to a movement sensor always works and not just for cats [thumbsup]

Wolf urine worked on gaurd dogs on Mythbusters if my memory serves correct.  I suppose the hardest part would be holding the jar while it took a piss.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

won't a bowl of anti-freeze work as well?

I hate stray cats.

I hate even more that city animal control does nothing about it and I am forced to live next to a bunch of disease ridden cats with flees and other shit.
