Full Termis really produce 13 hp

A modification that works as advertised:
I trailered my '08 S4Rs to PJ's in Albuquerque yesterday for the 600 mile service and for installation of a full Termi system. I had read the information at the DP site claiming a 13 hp increase with installation of the full system. I suspected and anticipated that statement to be somewhat optimistic.
PJ's did before and after dyno runs that were very interesting. Torque increased from 65.47 ft llbs to 71.90 ft lbs. An increase in torque was fairly consistent from 6,000 rpm to 11,000 rpm. Horsepower increased from 112.68 to 125.48, an increase of 12.8 (or call it 13) hp. The hp increase was also consistent in the same rpm range. The "after" hp and torque lines were smoother than the "before" lines. The "after" torque peaked at about 8,000 rpm and then dropped off slightly. Horsepower peaked and flattened at about 9,500 rpm.
Assuming that the dyno runs were accurate, the full Termi system is a modification that really does do what it says it will do. We are all accustomed to the extravagant claims made by aftermarket exhaust makers so I'm very pleased with my new exhaust.
I have no idea what the results would have been if the baffles had been installed and really like the sans baffles sound. I hope my neighbors do.
PJ's is a good dealership. The service department did the work as promised for the price that was estimated in advance. I will schedule my next service with PJ's.
The weather in Albuquerque was miserable but thankfully I was inside all day.

Thanks for the report.
Could you post up your dyno sheets?

Your results are almost identical to the results on my 2007 S4RS. I think they are accurate. Remember this mod is a lot more than just pipes. The ECU dumps a lot more fuel into the throttle bodies. Also the front wheel used to come up a lot before the mod, now it is really light.
As for the neighbors. I push my bike into the street now before I start it

DucNrun, I would be very interested in your interpretation of the results. See below:

sfarchie,
If you will go to YouTube and put in the words "S4Rs, Termi, or Termignoni, and full," you will find several video clips with sound posted by riders who have just installed the full Termi system. For example:

not a problem. by the way. that is a tremendous dip in the torque chart at 5500 rpm. what did they say about that when they installed?

As you know, horsepower is calculated by determining the torque value times rpm and dividing by 5252 as I recall. Note that there is no appreciable dip in horsepower at 5500 rpm. And, generally, it's better to make torque at high rpm than at low rpm with a motorcycle with a gear box. The bike runs very well now with smooth and strong acceleration. So I'm really not concerned with the dip you noticed.

After getting the full Termi system with ECU and Airbox, my s2r1000 dyoned at 95hp to the rear wheel on an accurate dyno. The bike stock is 95hp to the crank. Nice increase I'd say

I can tell you from experience that the dip is real, and becomes a pain in the ass at times. You don't notice it at all under moderate to hard acceleration. But it seems to be right at that spot when I am lane splitting. I keep having to shift to get out of that rpm range. Steady state running at 5000 to 5500 with small throttle openings makes the bike run like crap. From the smell of the unburned fuel I would guess it is running too rich

The DP ecu runs pig-rich for racing and actually has a few of these "spots". Some are not readily apparent on a dyno sheet. One of the reasons I installed a PCIII and had it dyno-tuned. It's totally linear now....not to mention the extra HP &Torque.
