thanks for everyones help on this...

i took mine off and dropped them off to be powdercoated. they said they are going to sandblast off the coating so the powdercoat would stick real good!

i also did the handlebar clamps while i was at it...

mr please, what black did you go with, matte or a gloss.  It is hard to tell in the pic but were you trying to match the trellis or the swingarm?

mrplease, did you leave those bushings (for the swingarm bolt) in there while it was powder coated? I spent a while today trying to get them out, couldn't do it.

I also tried to get them out, does not look like they will...  Anyone know if the PC process will damage the bushing?

i left them in and had absolutely no problems. i had them cover the bushings with tape as a precaution. they also used extra heat and coated them extra thick! i don't think they will ever chip!

i left mine in also, as i had a spare to test on. But i will say they looked a little tacky when i pulled them out of the oven, but they seem fine after cooling.
