I so want to be there and, depending on date and time, will attend just to meet you crazy people.

IIRC, wasn't there supposed to be a couple more adjectives before "dangly bits."

speaking of "dangly bits" ... can we invite folks from BARF?  they might want to "touch your cawk", as you mentioned in other post.  [roll]

I think you'll draw down the DMF attendance if you do that.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

It's not my shindig, so I'm not making the rules.  Talk to Heather.   She gets to invite whatever she wants.

That said, since you asked for my two cents, I'd say that if it's a DMF event, then it's important to distinguish between inviting folks from BARF and inviting BARF in general.  Many of us are "folks from BARF" as are some of our friends who are not on the DMF.   Hell, Heather is even a BARF mod.  It's just like our 'geist nights.  Anyone is welcome whether they have a monster or not (or even whether they ride or not).  But we don't advertise the gathering on BARF.

I wouldn't suggest making an open invitation to BARF people, per se.  There's just too much leghumping and what-not associated with that, especially if I invite them.  As Spidey said, if you know quality people (and they happen to be on BARF or they do not happen to be on the DMF) they are welcome.  Don't bring your buddies that can't handle their liquor.  Don't bring losers that are going to say, "That's phat, bro," everytime one of the motorcycles crashes.  Don't bring tools that will be pissed that there weren't more wheelies and burn-outs.   ;D

Can we make an exception for DanTheMan?

FYI:

To get The Roxie, we need to start the movie by 10 a.m. and be done by noon in order to get the discount rate, in case you missed that in my earlier posts.

That's the only issue currently being discussed.  It is by no means his only issue.  Srsly.

not good enough.  suggest having DTM sit in a fully ventilated area ... or gas masks and toxic suits for everyone.
