Where is the best place to order the powercommander V for the 696?

I have ordered a BCM air filter and will be getting the roads italia exhaust ordered this week, so i figured it will need the PC V setup for the bike.

any thoughts?

was thinking the same.
less work to do on the tuning.

i think though that with some experimenting and my laptop connected i could come up with a decent map without it.

It's good to see new parts coming out for the new monsters. Luckily my Ducati dealer has a dyno and installs power commanders. In a year or so when I have my 1100 hopefully there will be some good custom maps available for purchase.

This makes me so happy. I was afraid there never would be a way to mess with the fueling. So what reall y is th e issue with the fueling on the 696? I notice roughness around the 4000 rpm range. Will these modules rectify that issue? What is the dif between the PC and the Juice Box? I'm holding off buying goodies incase I trade up to the 1100.

maybe i'm wrong, but wouldn't a PC V for the 696 work for the 1100 as well. they are both seimens units. you would only have to change maps.

i will check out the juice box before ordering.

also, this only messes with fueling. is there a system that also works with the ignition timing or is that adjustable separately? guess i'm wondering if it is only the fueling systems that affect the power/roughness. to me adjusting spark and fuel would be the best way to go.

apparently the juice box put extra fuel into the system and that's it? so kinda like a fuel map but only up.

the PC V says it can go down 100% ie no fuel up to 250%

PC V has connections for O2 sensors.  I'm guessing that allows it to function in the closed loop portion of the throttle?
