Well, I ended up not going this route.. Instead, as you may have read from my other post, I found some S2r 1k fully adjustable Showas on ebay. Racetech springs and gold valve kit are more affordable in combination with the Showas, and I believe will produce a better result.
No offence but you have no idea what you're talking about. While I agree that adding the Racetech springs and valves is a great upgrade it's not even close to being in the same league as adding the Matris cartridges.
I've also had the opportunity to ride an S4Rs with the Ohlins and even that wasn't as good as my bike with the Matris. With the Ohlins you would have to get into the R & T to get the same result.
You have to remember when you install a cartridge kit you are replacing all the working parts in the fork not just a few of them like when you do the Racetech valves and springs. It's like you bought a complete new set of front forks.
