......pick up this

"new" 2006 sport classic.
(all standing around issues have been dealt with)
warranty etc starts today.
Good deal.waytogo
Was riding back....... but, the weather forecast for the nsw north coast put me off, it's coming down here on a truck :'(
went for a quick 20 km run around noosa roundabouts.
That had to do until it arrives next monday.

Another one of these arrived in noosa last thursday if anyone is interested.

Nice pick-up, have  always been a fan of the SC.
What's going on it first, pipes I'd expect.
Zards perhaps?

Nice ride, bout time some one showed a bit of class  cheeky surprised to see one of those hanging around, IMO they were the last of the best, we will have to go out for a squirt some time there is a bunch of S/C riders always heading out for a ride, last count on the email i receive 25 of them  waytogo

You will need to get your self a set of bar raisers ,they are standard issue on the 07's ,much easier on the back alternatively you can remove the 2 small spacers between the top triple and the clipons it will do something at least  waytogo

the zards were going on for sure, but as i've been working out what to do to it, zards were not working.
Hopefully sooner than later you wont recognize it.
I have got a plan cheeky

I didn't like them much when they came out,  been coming round, thought i was too late, then found a new 06 Grin
the shop had risers on it. i got them to put the original set up back laughingdp
I like PAIN laughingdp
i don't mind that riding position.
I hadn't ridden one before today, I was surprised with the front suspension, really good for non adjustable, the springs aren't made out of rubber (like some non adjustables finding their way onto ducatis), very solid/stable as you tip it in.

I'm a shift worker so i'm not always available weekends, but a SC ride sounds good chug

Nice pickup Bruce!
Keen to see progress pics of your mods etc.

I did contemplate a '06 SC but the little voice kept saying monster monster.

I'm looking forward to the delivery of your old bike. I'm already trolling the net for this and that.
will let you know when it arrives.

Just after it left today the rain stopped, the rain may be headed your way too.

I have a plan for mods, but that will depend on what's available, so anything could happen.
Getting the SC is partly due to not being able to get one of the original Sport models from way back (" we can get you one, probably take 6 months to a year" Shocked).
Overtaken by nostalgia laughingdp.

How long until delivery?
should only be a couple of days?
Hope it gets there before the weekend.
