Mine is just 'the duke' / 'the duc' (depending on spelling). I think names for bikes are a bit.... Kiss

[moto] I call my 2008 S2R1000 "Lazer" for the way she carves the curves, My 2002 Triumph Thunderbird is called "Old School" for the way she looks and my 2008 Can-Am Spyder is called "Tripod" because of her 3 wheels. It's fun to be retired, lots of days to ride.

My 2000 750 is Lucretia Borgia - 14th century manipulator and illegitimate daughter of the Pope.  Her brother, Ceasar was the "Prince"  that Machiavilli wrote his famous work to.  Also the name of Buffalo Bill Cody's rifle.

I'm thinking she's going to be Bella. I keep calling her the beautiful lady, so that seems to fit.

i finally named my bike with the help of my aunt.  she had never seen it, but i did my best describing her and my aunts suggestion was Lola.  so now she has a name.

mentioned it to everyone i know and several people said its a name of a transvestite from a song but i wont believe them (unless my research proves them right).  so if thats true its gonna change again.

edit:  damn... its time for a name change.  my research pointed me to the song "lola" by the kinks and wikipedia tells me that it is in fact about a transvestite.  wiki link

this doesnt make me less of a man does it?
