Just wanted to let you all know about this event! Great way to start the season...

From the WERA boards:

North Course both days. $185 per day.

Email trackdays@bostonmoto.com or visit http://bostonmoto.com for a registration sheet which you can fill out and mail back to us with payment (credit cards, paypal, check).

For those not experienced with Boston Moto, we are the New England Pirelli trackside vendor for all Loudon Road Racing Series and ASRA events for 2009 and from 2008.

We are also pleased to announce expansion and the ultimate trackday experience, Boston Moto Trackdays. Boston Moto Trackdays aims to offer the most track time at the greatest value, while providing a superior level of service and professionalism that have been the cornerstone of Boston Moto's success.

Experienced riders familiar with trackday etiquette, will be able to enjoy every possible minute of track time with minimal restrictions, however they will find the same knowledgeable staff available upon request for personalized instruction, including on-board video critique, 1-on-1 on-track sessions, or an in-depth conversation regarding specific areas in which you want to improve.

We expect our advanced group to be running a race-practice pace, our main rule is be smart and ride safe. We will enforce a strict two-strike policy, the goal is for everyone to be able to enjoy as much time as possible in a safe, experienced environment.

Boston Moto will continue to offer Pirelli tire service and Chicken Hawk performance parts (including tire warmer rentals) at all 2009 trackday events.

And suspension tuning help too...

"Suspension Help and Advanced Tuning Available at Boston Moto Trackdays!

FACT: The vast majority of trackday riders can benefit greatly from advanced rider training.

FACT: Many many trackday riders never touch their suspension settings and are riding a bike that could be so much better but for some minor adjustments to geometry and suspension components.

Now, with Boston Moto and GMD Computrack New York, you can have BOTH. Boston Moto is offering a small group of attendees at each of our trackdays the chance to spend all day working with Mike Martire of GMD Computrack New York. As well as being a very highly respected long-time instructor at NHMS, Mike is the owner of GMD Computrack New York and he can get your suspension working perfectly for you by observing your bike and riding style where it matters most...on the track right beside you. Plus, he's a great guy to hang out with at the track (he told us to tell you that). You will learn more and benefit more in one day with Mike than you could by going to 10 trackdays and trying to work this stuff out on your own. Suspension settings and motorcycle geometry are confusing at the best of times, let alone during the high-stress environment of a busy day at the track.

Groups of 6 maximum at each event will be given the opportunity to try this new program. The cost is $125 over and above the cost of the trackday. At that price, it's a bargain. Email: trackdays@bostonmoto.com for more details."

Congrats and good luck on the new venture, Scott.

If I'm ever up there, I'll look into this.

Thanks!!  For those of you who don't know... we are a new trackday organization for 2009.  Myself and another owner of Boston Moto have ran trackdays in the past, have a combined total of 15 years instructing experience, are both former racers... and generally speaking saw a void / opportunity to offer a more laid-back trackday than most organizations.  And for those that do know me.... personally I cannot get enough of seeing Duc's running around the track, so I really hope to have a good Italian contingent @ our events!   [moto]

How's the tyre business going? Will you be offering any kind of discounts to people who go to your trackdays?

We're trying to figure out various ways to offer promotional deals for attending an event and getting tires as well... our trackday pricing was set to be as low as possible already, and Pirelli has come out this year with a very strict pricing policy on tires.  However as a race distributor, will be offering our racer-net pricing at all our trackday events which is significantly lower than trackday vendor pricing.

For the March event at VIR, we're offering a free set of Chicken Hawk knee sliders for anyone who grabs a set of Pirelli rubber at the event.  This deal requires a coupon from our first newsletter, if you plan to attend the event and would be interested in the offer, PM me with an email address and I'll forward the newsletter over to ya.  We'll try and put some specials together for each event, along the lines of coupons, some freebies, etc.

We DO have some stock of '08 tires however, which are a great deal for anyone looking for some new rubber as '09 pricing has gone up... from what we gather, this isn't specific to Pirelli... looks like '09 rubber regardless of brand has gone up in price... so for those looking into tires, try and grab some '08 rubber while supplies last!! Regardless of who your supplier is!

For anyone looking to keep up to date on various specials going on, signup for our newsletter at http://bostonmoto.com
