Hi everyone,
Dave here from the Apple Isle.
I've only had the bike a little while, and the mods are starting to happen pretty quickly.
So I thought I'd document everything here so that I can have a bit of a history of my new machine.
And I'm sure I'll get heaps of advice from you lot as well!
So here she is when I first picked her up in Brisbane:
I then rode back down the coast via the Princess Highway, which was a very nice ride.

Watch out for European wasps !!
When I had my yellow VTR 1000 I was sick of being attacked by the little critters when pulled up at the lights, and scrambling to find neutral and closing my visor before one got in and cracked the shits!!
I still reckon yellow is a top colour though [moto]

Thanks Dragonworld. When I was first looking for a monster, all I would even consider was red or black.
This one was a great deal, and now that I've had it a while I love the Yellow
I picked up a great little tail bag from aussiebiker.com.au
And some Puma boots from thehelmetwarehouse.com.au

Here's the latest addition
Mivv carbon lowmounts supplied by Carl from bikemonkey.com.au
Carl's service is first class, and his price was better than any of the Yanks too!
They took less than 3 weeks to arrive, which I reckon was great as they were a special order from Italy.
Yeah, I know the pic is a bit crappy. I've been too busy riding, listening to the sweet sound coming out of my - rear end

GO THE YELLOW
Beat me to it! Ducati Yellow is an awesome colour, but I felt the need to get rid of mine, so now gone dark!

If it's not a rude question what were they roughly $$$$ DAVE?

Hey our avatars are very similar, except now you have no beer tray, I painted mine
YELLOW
so it blended in, my other half has chopped his dark. Did I tell you we stripped the outer edge of his wheel rims and polished them a few weeks ago and they look awesome I wanted to get mine done professionally but they wanted $150-200 a rim, going to do mine this way now.
