As the only Hobart DMF'er I volunteer to take you to Joes Garage and buy you a beer. Tuesday is bike night but its open any night really. If you can't make Tuesday, Friday or Sat is fine.

Just let me know when you'll be down this way. I just started a new job so no more mid week rides for me.

Goldy, I'll PM you my mobile as requested.

So you arrive Wednesday morning then?
I should be able to ride out and meet you for a morning coffee In Devonport. The ship berths bloody early, you'll need it.

Where's your first port of call? I'm in Launceston, and can work out a nice ride into town if you like.

Yep Wednesday it is, looking at doing the North East corner, then a run down to Hobart, then..... dunno oh.. have a beer at er... the Garage ? forgot its bloody name, anyway, no hard and fast plan.

Icanna control the weather so no use worrying, if it gets really bad we will just hole up somewhere, speaking of which, I could do with some advice on where to stay.

Any help with accomadation would be greatly appreciated, I would like to have a look at the north east corner and then progress from there, I'm typing this as we cross the straight, the old ship is doing a little bit of 'rock and roll' at the moment, see you all soon

OK the North East corner mmm There is nice places to stay a Bridport which is a beach stay but only 45 minutes maybe from Launceston you might be better going for a couple of day rides out that way but base in yourselves in Launceston?
Or head out that way and take a turn and head down East Coast and stay at St Helens or Bicheno (bazz's country) maybe? Let me know. I will PM my mobile number if you want to get in touch while in Launceston, we can go and have a steak and a drink maybe?
