Well, I was going to make up some shorty megs for my bike (really short), but forgot I had a set of these R1 cans laying around.  Repacked and shaved/chopped down, they weigh about 2lbs each.

Here is one on the right side.  Plenty of room to add another on to balance out the bike.  It's just hanging there, but I kinda like the look of it.  Of course the can isn't shaved, can be shorter, and would need to be refinished....but it's a general idea.

Whatcha think?

I say either 2-1 or dual sided highmounts but not both shotgunned on one side.  I like the way the shape blends nicely with your cowl and how the tip meets at the end of the frame.   waytogo

Should have specified, either the 2-1, OR one on each side.  No shotty style for me anymore  waytogo

Well then my preference is dual-sided high mounts.  Gotta keep everything balanced.  Grin

I would love to see the shorty megs anyway... Make both then we can decide properly  Grin I think that great and would be nice with one on each side. That's my vote.

I vote for 2-1. I think it looks awesome.

I'd have to see the dual mounts mocked up, but the angle of the can and the tips really complements the CF seat/tail!   waytogo

I would say dual high mounts. I don't think that it would flow enough just being one of them...

Either way you'll see a set of shorty shotgun megaphones. Theo is fab'ing up a set for myself  waytogo

Looks cool Theo. I really like how it follows the lines for the bike.

One thought for you to try. Take it apart and turn the can itself the other way so the mount for the heat shield is on the top. Then mount the shield and see how it looks.

IMO, they are a little to thick. They look a little out of place.
