+1 on Rome. Saw guys there drinking beer on their Vespas.

Paris and Rome were really bad after the subways closed. Who ever heard of subways closing? All-night traffic jam.

One day I am going to grow a pair and rent a scooter in Rome.  It is a giant exercise in twitch reflex.

We were in Paris for New Years Eve one year when the subway workers decided to pull "Le Greve" - after midnight, there was no public transportation.  So, hundreds of thousands of drunk, wet, cold Parisians and tourists all competed for the same taxis.  When I say "compete" I mean, kick, scream, punch, pull other people bodily out of back seat.  We were finally able to catch a cab at about 4:00 AM and spent about $100 for a $20 cab ride back to the hotel.  It was l'ame.

+1 on Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indo.  Nothing like the Euros, they are just nuts on that side of the planet.

I once passed a tuk tuk on the inside of a corner while he was also passing a truck, all  while there was a similar pass going on in opposing traffic. 

They believe in reincarnation. And it shows in their driving habits.

Last time I was in Paris I took a moto taxi (scooter) to CDG airport.   Most efficient way to make it through the traffic.

Viet Nam... all of it.  Bikes are used for everything there, and there's utter tons of them.
