Hey Y'all! Well, I am nearly done with the 1986 Arlette Racing based Cagiva 650 that's getting a completely new wiring harness. After that and some small other issues, I"m onto an '07 S4Rs that's going to be very 'clean' looking. After that I have a complete build on an '07 S2R1000 from NYC. After that I have an '05 S4R to do a complete on. And in the meantime I've got a few customers locally that need small-ish things done. During all of this...I'm working on the FINAL re-build of my beloved CR which has recently discovered it's own name. Frankie. And I have a couple more customers that are 'potential' builds of complete bikes but a lot of people throw ideas...the trouble is finding thost that ALSO throw cash! Yeah...FlightCycles is experiencing a slight 'boom' in business lately. It's really make the beast with two backsin' nice I tell ya. I keep my hair short so I don't have to worry about pulling it out! Coffee's nearly out and I'm at my 'job' so I have to go. Just wanted to post up about this weekends 'boom' is all. Happy motoring everyone (incl. DP) [moto]

I really love how you've got it looking (from the last pic which is burned into my mind btw...) DS - IS the NYC bike someone from here?
Don't think so GotDuc... He mentioned that he lurks here but didn't mention whether or not he's got a login.

I can't say who... but the last bike I painted for the builder might be seen on the left coast being ridden by a 'high profile' personality. Kinda cool if you're impressed by hollywood types. It means I have to paint another.

The frame work is finished and it and the fork are powdercoated now. Motor work is near completion. The metalflake was about to start flying on the tanks, but the layoff brought everything to a screeching halt.

Hey dp, you got unemployed total loser discounts? How much to paint a Sportster tank, an oil bag, and a minimal rear fender. Just hasta be black with tons of flake in the clear (I gots the flake) and nice and shiny. Minimal bodywork required on the oil bag (few dings and low spots), rest is straight. Lemme know.
